My tour experience

                      Tour to Dhading,Kurintar

As we all know that every year,oue school take students to excursions and tour to learn new things from there. So,we the students of grade 8 were taken tour to Dhading, kurintar for 2 days and 1 night on the month of mangsir(Saturday and Sunday). From total 51 students only 36 were decided to go and 4 teachers(Rajan sir, Deepak sir, Bijaya sir and Aarati mam)  were going with us. We were informed to come within 10:00' clock. All the students gathered in the school.At first we click group photo wearing our school track.

Then we entered inside the bus and started our journey. We sang songs in the bus. Everyone enjoyed it. Me and some of my friend vomited a lot. Then we ate tiffin and tea in a cafe.Then again we went in the bus. After an hour later we reached at a resort called springwood camp. The resort was between the big hills.There were many camps. Only 3 can sleep inside it.Then we kept our bags in our own camp and we went to be fresh. Then we ate launch at the resort. After that we went for hiking where there was a long scary Ghulunge pool and fields of cabbage,tomatoes potatoes and cauliflowers. After hiking we came back to the resort.

Nearly at 8pm we did our dinner. Dinner was very nice. After dinner we danced a lot then one of the worker make camp fire. Then we sat near the fire and sang songs. Slowly the fire became small and then the worker brought many pieces of chicken meat .Then he put wire gauge and put chicken meat on it. It was called B.B.Q. It were served in plate.We all took it and ate. It was tasty.We danced a lot.At 11:45pm we went to sleep inside our camp.

At morning, we drank tea. We also played games, push ups for boys where Basanta won it and running race for girls where I won and then we did our breakfast. After that we went to Chapang Village. It was on the hill. We walked a lot .Then we reached there but there were only few houses .Then we walked little more then we came at the top of the hill and there was a small temple.

The hill was covered with fog. Then we went back to resort from another way. In the way there was a house with papaya tree. Then again in the way there was a river which water was very clean we played for few minutes and then we came back to the resort. After that we went to the river side.The riverside was covered with sand and big pebbles. We played in the sand and made pebbles tower in the pebbles side. We also did running race in the sand.Then we came back and took sun bath for half an hour. Then sir told us to be ready to go.Then we pack our bags and leave the resort.In the bus we sang songs . Due to traffic jam we arrived to home near 7:00.

 It was memoriable day in my life. I will never forget the excitement and the enjoyment that I got there.

My tihar experience

MY TIHAR EXPERIENCE

Tihar is the second greatest festival after Dashain.  It is considered to be of great 

importance as it shows reverence to not just the humans and the gods, but also to the animals 

like crows, cows, and dogs that maintain an intimate relationship with humans.  Tihar is 

the festival of lights celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, of knowledge over 

ignorance, and the dissolution of barriers that separate humans from authentic 

experience  of the world.It is the festival of lights that brings the worship of Laxmi. It is 

celebrate for five days.It starts with Kag Tihar followed by Kukur Tihar, Laxmi Puja, Goverdhan Puja 

and Bhai Tika.The first day of Tihar is to worship crows, "the messenger of death". The second 

day of Tihar is to honor dogs, "the guardian for the god of death". The third day is to welcome 

the Goddess of Laxmi. The forth day is to thank cows. The fifth day is to place Tihar quotes (Tihar 

Tika) to brothers and present Tihar gifts for sisters. Every house, buildings and temples are 

graced by the rows of light.


My Tihar experience was very joyfulness.I celebrate and enjoyed Tihar festival from the first day.

Kaag Tihar (crow pooja)/worship of crows


In the first day,Kaag tihar I worshp crows by offering delicious sweets and dishes on the terrace of the house.

Kukur Tihar (dog pooja)/Worship of dogs

In the second day, I worshiped dogs by putting tika on their forehead and flowers garland around their neck.I also offered food and sel roti to them.

Gai tihar (cow pooja) and Laxmi pooja

In the third day Gai tihar I worship cows by putting flowers garland around their neck and tika on their forehead.I also offered them bay and fruits.

I also cleaned the whole house with other people and decorate the doors and windows of house with marigold garland. In the evening made rangoli and trail the floor with the mixture of red mud and cow dung.After it dried I made the symbolic footprint of goddess Laxmi to the worshiping room. My mother offered many types of fruits, sweets and Sel roti.

In bhai tika,I didn't put tika to my brother but we ate many types of delicious food .My mother went to mama's house to put him tika . 

My dashain experience

My Dashain Experience

Dashain is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual

calendar, celebrated mainly by Hindus with great rejoice. It is celebrated by 

people gathering with their family and relatives happily and receiving tika 

and Jamara from their elders with blessings.

Our school gave 1 month Dashain and Tihar vacation holidays. I was very 

excited for Dashain celebration.I went to bought new clothes with my family 

in Dashain vacation.I also clean all the corner and dirty parts of my room. I 

went to visit many places with my parents. In the day of Dashain (Vijaya 

Dasami ) I and my family went to our uncle's house and enjoyed there.We 

didn't put tika but we gather and celebrate Dashain by eating many types of 

delicious food, drinking,dancing and singing .My father played cards with 

uncle and their friends.My mother and aunt started talking with their 

relatives.And my brother and I flew kite with our friends on the terrace.We 

did many lots of fun there.I was very happy and enjoying it.
