My Tihar Experience 

Tihar is the festival of light. I celebrated it very nicely from the first day.

I celebrated first day, kaag tihar by offering foods to the crows in the garden.
 On second day,kukur tihar I woke up in the morning and put tika and garland to house dog and gave delicious foods to  it.

 The best day was the gai tihar and laxmi puja. On that day I woke up in the morning and took bath.After that I went nearby cow shed. Then I put tika and garlands to the cows.I also gave grass to the cows with my own hands . I also gave some packets of salt to the owner of cows. After taking launch me and my mother went for shopping to by things which are needed for laxmi puja. We baught colours to make rangoli,garlands,marigold flowers, diyos, candles,etc.On that evening I made rangoli with sister in front of house.We made house very beautiful by lightening lamps, diyos, candles,etc everywhere. We also put big garland on the main door and other doors. Then I worshipped goddess Laxmi with I mother by offering fruits, sweets, flowers, selroti, etc to goddess laxmi.  After puja children cane to the house by chanting Bhailini . Although I didn't went to play deusi and bhailo but also I enjoyed it by watching it on tv.

On the bhai tika I did lots of fun with my brother. We watched adventurous movies on TV like dispicable me 3 ,jumanji,etc. 

I enjoyed these five days a lot.It was very exciting and memorable moments.

My Dashain Experience
                  

Dashain Festival is one of the most important Hindu festival which is celebrated all over Nepal delightfully. This festival usually falls in the month of September or October and is actually celebrated for 15 days. It starts from bright lunar fortnight (Shukla Paksha) and ends on the day of full moon (Poornima) according to Nepalese annual calendar. Hindus greatest festival, Dashain honors a great conquest of the gods over the evil demons. The symbol of power, Goddess Durga is worshiped during this festival.It is celebrated by people gathering with their family and relatives happily and receiving tika and Jamara from their elders with blessings.

I was very excited for Dashain celebration.I went to bought new clothes with my family in Dashain vacation.

As I am buddhist ,I didn't celebrate dashain by  putting tika but this time I also took tika from our aunt.

 I celebrate it by eating delicious foods. I  also played cards and flew kites with my friends. During the day of tika m y aunt came to our home .My mother and aunt started to talk about many things as they met each other after a long time. We also danced,sang and went to watch movies.I also went to visit many places like baudha, pashupatinath etc.

I enjoyed my dashain very beautifully.
